Amp’d Adventures Rivian Cinematic Road Trip Across the West

There are certain videos you put on in the background just to set a mood. For me, it’s usually something simple. A little ambient lofi with soft visuals. Something steady while I work or wind down. Lofi Girl used to be my go to; but after watching Kevin from Amp’d Adventures share an hour of ambient, cinematic drone footage from his Rivian travels, I’m not so sure I’ll be going back anytime soon.

What Kevin created isn’t flashy or over produced. It’s what we all want to see while driving in our adventure vehicles, just real landscapes. His journey takes you through Sedona and Flagstaff in Arizona, Joshua Tree, Lake Tahoe, the Oregon Coast, Bend, Mount Shasta, Moab, Sequoia, and finally Johnson Valley. Watching it feels less like scrolling YouTube and more like sitting beside a campfire replaying the road in your head.

What I appreciate most is how naturally it shows what an electric adventure vehicle can do. There’s no over explaining. No spec sheets. No forced narrative. Just world use for a weekend out on the trails. It’s the kind of content that makes you want to plan your own route instead of comparing range numbers.

Honestly, I’d love to see Rivian lean into this style of storytelling more at their spaces. Slow it down. Let the landscapes speak. Let the vehicles exist in the environments they were built for. Sometimes the quiet moments tell the strongest story.

If you haven’t seen Kevin’s channel yet, take an hour and let it play in the background. It’s worth it. And Kevin, if you’re reading this, one day I hope to take a trip half as epic as yours. Until then, I’ll keep dreaming up routes from the Outpost.
